Remove unwanted skin blemishes in minutes, with no surgery and no downtime
What is Skin Revision?
Skin Revision is an electrocautery treatment for unwanted skin lesions. Using a precisely controlled electric current, your Electrologist removes the blemish at the skin surface, quickly and safely, without cutting. The treated area forms a small scab that falls away on its own over the following days.
The treatment covers a wide range of conditions:
- Skin tags
- Age spots (liver spots)
- Spider veins
- Benign moles
- Broken capillaries
- Ruby points (dark red spots)
- Milia (small white bumps)
- Warts
Skin tags, age spots, and spider veins are the conditions clients most commonly seek treatment for.
“I had damage on my forehead from an injury. It was noticeable in both color and texture. I had a combination of micronedling and Skin Revision done. The outcome was so good it was like a miracle.”

How Electrocautery Works
A small, controlled electric current delivers heat precisely to the unwanted tissue. Only the lesion is targeted; the surrounding skin is not affected. No incision is made, and there is no bleeding. The lesion is cauterized at its base, then naturally shed from the skin over the following days.
This precision makes Skin Revision faster and less invasive than surgical removal, with no visible scarring in most cases.
How long does skin tag, age spot or spider vein removal take?
A single lesion can be treated in just a few minutes. If you have several lesions or a larger area to treat, the session takes longer. Your practitioner will give you a realistic time estimate once they have assessed the number and type of lesions at your consultation.
Is skin tag, age spot or spider vein removal painful?
A numbing cream is applied to the treatment area before the procedure begins. During treatment, most clients feel mild warmth and light pressure. The procedure is generally well tolerated. Your practitioner will check in throughout and adjust as needed.
How long does it take to heal after skin tag, age spot or spider vein removal?
After treatment, the treated area forms a small scab. The scab typically falls away on its own within one to two weeks. Complete healing can take several weeks depending on the size and location of the lesion and how your skin heals individually. Do not pick at the scab, as this can cause scarring. Sun protection on the treated area is recommended while the skin heals.
How many sessions does it take to remove skin tags?
Most skin tags are resolved in a single session. Your practitioner will confirm this at your consultation once they have assessed the area.
How many sessions does it take to remove age spots or spider veins?
Age spots and spider veins may require more than one session depending on their depth and size. Your practitioner will give you a realistic estimate at your consultation.
